Around The Table is a group exhibition presented by Bayley Arts celebrating food and community. Food brings people together often around a table. Food encourages conversation, social interaction, shared experience and celebrates culture.
The exhibition will celebrate the Bayley Arts inaugural Community Cookbook, a project that blends art, cooking and community. The show includes art made by participants inspired by the recipes and their shared meals during the making of the cookbook, and artworks by Sandy Beach Centre, Ali’s Art School and local community members.
The exhibition and Bayley Arts Community Cookbook will be launched on 11 April by Bayside City Council Mayor Cr Hanna El Mouallem.
