Textile die, wool and cotton on calico

This piece was initiated by artist Anna to explore the way the Black Forest could be depicted through textiles. The rich deep colours spurred this design choice. Textiles artist Hayley was then handed this work by Anna to continue and she layered deep coloured threads and wools to create an impression of plant life.
